Thank you for visiting Marquand.net. I began this site with the goal of having a common area for friends and family to keep in touch. However, the blog has morphed into an almost daily post of personal experience and memories. Many posts are just random memories triggered by items that have come up during a day of, well, just being. Many (if not all) posts have a sarcastic taste to them. Few are serious, although I do take many things in my life, especially my family, very seriously.
In the back of my mind, my blog feels like a way to preserve the thoughts and memories in a pseudo-time capsule. I hope that there is a way to preserve this form in some manner so that my kids can look back on all of this and maybe understand more about who in the hell this person was that was making their life so darned difficult. |
