Noah has been having a great time creating different robots with the gear and working with the programs to get them to react to their environment. On one occasion he was trying to program a robot to avoid obstacles it found while moving around a room and after several downloads and tests, he came back from the living room saying, "Well that was a complete disaster!".
His best robot so far is a scorpion that walks forward until it detects something within 12 inches. When it detects something, it starts backing up and if something touches the sensor in the front, it strikes with its tail swinging up and over its back like a real scorpion. Cool!
