Memoirs of a Board Gamer

The kids start back to school tomorrow so I decided to end the summer with a bang. I took the day off from work and packed the two of them in the Mini and we drove two hours to Sandusky, Ohio for some fun at Cedar Point.

As a kid growing up in north eastern Indiana, I used to go to Cedar Point almost every year with my friend Art and his family. We'd arrive when the park opened and wouldn't leave until it closed. With Noah and Sophie, our trip was no different. I have so many great memories of Cedar Point and being able to enjoy it with my own kids now makes me get all misty-eyed.

With the light crowds and the picture perfect day we got in a ton of coaster riding with multiple rides of the Magnum, Millennium, Gemini, Mantis, Corkscrew, Iron Dragon, Raptor, Wildcat, and the Blue Streak. With a few other minor rides thrown in for good measure we had a full but very satisfying day.
